Despite an array of players heading out the exit door, the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Kalvin Philipps shows City are a force to be feared. Anything less than the Premier League trophy would be the biggest surprise of the season.

Champions: Manchester City

An unsurprising list given Fulham has been relegated twice and promoted three times in five seasons. The Cherries will be lucky to not finish dead last and Leeds have lost two of their best players in Raphinha  and Kalvin Phillips.

Relegated: Fulham, Bournemouth, Leeds

Since arriving at Liverpool in 2017, Mohamed Salah has ended the season with less than 20 goals just once and was one shy of cracking that number in the 2019/20 season. That’s why it’s almost impossible to overlook him again for the golden boot gong this season.

Golden boot: Mohamed Salah

Unless they can solve the Cristiano Ronaldo conundrum – and soon – him remaining at Old Trafford could prove a deadly blow to Erik ten Hag's hopes. Expect them to fail dismally … again.

Biggest disappointment: Manchester United
