Juventus to hold talks over re-signing Pogba


Juventus are gearing up to re-sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United in the summer transfer window and plan to hold talks with his entourage next week.

Pogba spent four years in Turin after leaving United on a free transfer in 2012 and is still remembered fondly at the club even after his record €105 million (£89.3 million) transfer back to Old Trafford.

And he may well be returning once again, though Juve are bracing themselves for competition from Paris Saint-Germain for his transfer.

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo's appearance in an alleged shirt leak has raised hopes that the striker could still be lining up at Old Trafford next season.

The veteran forward's future at the club is by no means certain after they failed to clinch Champions League qualification in 2021-22.

But he was seen posing in what may be United's new model of shirt for next term, which could mean he will stick it out for another year or longer.

Robert Lewandowski wishes to force a transfer and leave Bayern Munich this summer, the Bundesliga outfit's director of football Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed.

The Poland international has long been speculated to want an exit from Allianz Arena this summer, after another domestic league triumph in Bavaria.

Now, he has told the club of his intention to snub their offer of fresh terms, and push for an exit from the remainder of his contract, due to expire in 2023.

Xavi responds to De Jong to Man Utd rumours


Barcelona coach Xavi has suggested that Frenkie de Jong's future depends on the club's financial situation.

The Dutch midfielder has been linked to a move away from Camp Nou this summer, with Manchester United said to be lining up a swoop.

As confirmed by GOAL, the Catalan side would be willing to sell him for the right price, and an offer of around €60 million (£51m/$62m) would be enough to convince them to let him leave.

Ancelotti confirms Hazard will stay at Real Madrid


Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Eden Hazard will remain with Real Madrid next season, adding that the Belgian wishes to stay and prove his worth after an injury-struck stay so far.

Hazard first arrived with much fanfare from Chelsea in 2019 but has spent more time off the field than on it during his tenure at Santiago Bernabeu.

That has led to speculation that Madrid could move him on but now Ancelotti says he will remain part of the club's plans going forward.

Bayern Munich's move for Noussair Mazraoui is on "the home stretch", according to manager Julian Nagelsmann, who applauded the Ajax man as the "kind of player" he wants at Allianz Arena.

The Morocco international will leave the Netherlands after a trophy-laden stint to join the Bundesliga champions next term on a free transfer.

The final matters are still being ironed out, but that has not stopped his new coach from waxing lyrically about their courtship.

Jude Bellingham has reaffirmed his commitment to Borrussia Dortmund for the near future, ruling out the possibility of following in the footsteps of fellow high-profile team-mates by making a move to the Premier League.

Erling Haaland's switch to Manchester City was recently confirmed, while Three Lions team-mate Jadon Sancho moved to Manchester United last year, with the Red Devils also linked with Bellingham himself.

Thomas Muller has revealed that he was courted with an "insane offer" from Manchester United, but that Bayern Munich shut down discussions before it could get any further.

The Germany star recently extended his contract at Allianz Arena through to 2024, to likely ensure he will remain a one-club man across a sterling playing career than has seen him claim major honours at both domestic and international level.

Reflecting on his time in Munich to date, though, the attacking midfielder has revealed that he considered an exit from the team on three occasions - including once when United came calling with a major monetary bid under former Bayern boss Louis van Gaal.
